Calls in you call queue will be placed 300+ seconds after creation

When you create calls via the REST API they are added to a call queue. Calls are removed from that call queue and placed at a default rate of 1 per second. This calls per second rate can be increased. Currently your call queue contains a large number of calls that have yet to be placed. It will be 300 seconds or more for this call to be placed. More calls will still be accepted and calls in your queue will continue to be placed. If your application requires timely placement of calls, your application performance may be degraded.

  • Runaway or looping application

  • Contact your account manager or Twilio support to purchase additional capacity.
